About The Position

Kamatics is seeking Senior Accounting Analyst who works under the general direction of the Accounting Manager and is responsible for performing a wide range of accounting activities, including general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and special projects. This role supports accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and maintains a continuous improvement mindset to enhance processes and efficiencies. Requirements

5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and meet deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required

Nice To Haves

CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred
Experience in manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred
Experience with FAR and CAS regulations preferred

Responsibilities

Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and cost allocations
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Reconcile sub-ledgers and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Process and reconcile supplier cash disbursements
Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and settlements
Prepare foreign subsidiary adjustments to convert local statutory financials to U.S. GAAP
Serve as a key point of contact for external and internal audits; support audit requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
Identify and resolve system or process issues; generate reports and support documentation as needed
Prepare and file sales and use tax and/or property tax returns
Administer the company travel and expense program in accordance with company policy
Collaborate cross-functionally with payroll and other departments to gather information and resolve discrepancies
Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes and efficiency
Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned
