About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant for our Fortune 500 global manufacturing client on a project basis. This contract role is fully remote.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical and/or Fortune 500 experience
• 4+ years of corporate accounting experience preparing financial close deliverables at publicly traded organization required
• Intermediate and advanced accounting and financial reporting skills that include US GAAP required
• ERP and Edge system experience preferred in Blackline and SAP (ECC and S/4 HANA)
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• SAP certifications preferred
• CPA license preferred
• Excellent oral, written, and overall communication skills
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and trends, prepare financial reports for senior management, and assist with annual budgets and forecasts
• Oversee account reconciliations and expense tracking
• Lead month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries
• Respond timely to project leader communications and proactively research and resolve action items with a high sense of urgency
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities to support financial statement close process, as needed
