About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy. This is a key role in our financial operations, ensuring precision, compliance, and maintaining GAAP standards. As a member of the finance team, you’ll have the opportunity to support strategic decision-making, drive efficiency and improve processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience (public or private)
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Netsuite, SAP)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Nice To Haves

• CPA candidate or certification is a plus
• Experience in the retail or furniture industry is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Support AP, AR and Payroll functions as needed
• Assist with financial reporting, audits, and other renewals
• Perform ad hoc analysis and accounting projects as assigned
• Ensure adherence to multi-jurisdiction regulatory requirements
• Review and Maintain Fixed Assets
