Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA license is a plus)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in general accounting and financial reporting
  • Solid understanding of GAAP
  • Strong skills in accounting software systems and Excel
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates at all levels
  • Proactive attitude—you spot potential issues before they become problems

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing process
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Track important assets like equipment, inventory, and software investments
  • Work closely with our project management team on revenue recognition
  • Prepare budget-to-actual analyses
  • Create monthly financial reports with your insights on the results
  • Help lead our annual budgeting process
  • Handle customer invoicing
