Job Summary Performs professional accounting functions involving the application of established accounting standards, performing complex reconciliations including bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

Requirements

  • Requires a BS degree in Accounting.
  • Five to eight years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with an MRP system.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Performs professional accounting functions involving the application of established accounting standards, principles, and practices.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including month end accruals, to the general ledger.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations including daily reconciliation of cash to A/R
  • Conducts reconciliations of financial accounts.
  • Maintain and reconcile lease accounts and prepaid accounts
  • Assists with special projects and analysis as needed
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish work goals.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
