About The Position

Join Bilfinger's finance team in The Woodlands as a Senior Accountant. You'll manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities—from general ledger maintenance and month-end/year-end close to financial reporting, fixed assets, and treasury activities. Dive into data analysis and help enhance our shared-service center operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5-7 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in industrial construction or services.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP (IFRS familiarity preferred).
• Proficient in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, including fixed assets, depreciation, intercompany, and treasury postings.
• Maintain fixed asset register compliant with US GAAP, IFRS & tax requirements.
• Perform weekly/monthly bank reconciliations and cash management.
• Support internal & external audits and document SOPs and accounting procedures.
• Analyze ledger variances and deliver insights to management.
• Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.
