About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the financial operations of multiple hotel properties. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry
  • Strong understanding of hotel accounting systems and financial software
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to hotel operations

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the accounting functions for various hotel properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets for each hotel
  • Reconcile accounts, monitor cash flow, and ensure timely processing of transactions
  • Collaborate with hotel management teams to support financial planning, forecasting, and operational decision-making
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations related to financial reporting and tax compliance
  • Assist with audits, internal controls, and process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospitality industry financial practices and regulations
