About The Position

Its ground-breaking Next-Gen platform provides IT operations teams with the ability to scale their hybrid multi-cloud connected networks by automating the processes associated with Diagnostic Troubleshooting, Outage Prevention and Protected Change Management. Today, over 2,500 of the world’s largest enterprises and managed services providers leverage NetBrain’s platform. We’re seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with 5+ years of experience supporting international and U.S. operations. The ideal candidate has expertise in multi-entity and intercompany accounting, foreign currency, and global statutory compliance, along with strong NetSuite and Excel skills. Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours are strongly preferred to support collaboration with global and U.S. teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or a related subject
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience. Software company or public accounting experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of foreign currency and inter-company accounting, best practices and internal controls.
  • Experience in operating various software systems, such as NetSuite, Salesforce, CaptivateIQ, Shareworks, Expensify, ADP and Adaptive.
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting activities for international entities in Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, and India, ensuring compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Review monthly bookkeeping packages for foreign subsidiaries in accordance with local GAAP (including IFRS and Indian GAAP) and assist with conversion to US GAAP where applicable.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate and support country-specific tax filings, including VAT/GST/HST (Canada), VAT (UK and Germany), and GST/TDS (India), ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
  • Monitor and account for foreign currency transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Partner with external advisors and local auditors to support statutory audits and filings.
  • Ensure intercompany transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and eliminated, including cross-border invoicing and transfer pricing considerations.
  • Maintain compliance with local payroll, pension, and statutory accrual requirements in each jurisdiction, including PF, ESI, and other statutory obligations in India.
  • Provide backup support for U.S. accounting functions, including general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations, ensuring continuity during peak periods or team absences.
  • Assist with U.S. month-end close processes and reporting requirements as needed.
  • Support U.S. compliance activities, including sales and use tax, audit requests, and regulatory filings.
  • Collaborate with the U.S. accounting team to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and ensure consistency across domestic and international operations.
