About The Position

We are seeking a high potential, results-oriented, Senior Accountant to perform financial and cost accounting activities. This position will oversee accounting activities for the U.S. Headquarters, including but not limited to general accounting processes such as inter-company, cash, fixed-assets, accruals, consolidation of monthly reporting deliverables and review of balance sheet. Responsible for developing and documenting accounting policies, procedures, control processes, and financials. The candidate must possess strong analytical skills and ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or accounting
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience

  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Hyperion Financial Management system knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manages and analyzes activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control financial resources and compliance with regulations, laws, and reporting activities.
  • Prepares, examines, and conforms to procedures for general ledger preparation and project and / or government accounting activities.
  • Performs monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
  • Develops and documents accounting policies, procedures, control processes, and financials.
  • Analyzes business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to accurately represent financial standing.
  • Supports internal and external audits for process compliance and timely completion.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Leads small scale projects.
