About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated High Level Accountant to manage daily and weekly accounting cycles, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable support, and fixed asset accounting. This role supports month-end closing to ensure timely and accurate financial statements and assists with audit requests while ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Requirements

3+ years of operational accounting experience (staff or supervisor level).
3+ years of intermediate Excel experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Own daily/weekly accounting cycles, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, AP/AR support, and fixed asset accounting.
Support month-end close to ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Identify manual processes and propose solutions to streamline or automate processes within D365 and supporting tools.
Collaborate with the Accounting Manager, Finance, and IT to implement enhancements and workflow improvements.
Improve the quality and consistency of source data to enable more automated entries and exception-based accounting.
Assist with Power BI dashboards, data queries, or automation tools to reduce repetitive tasks.
Support other team initiatives, such as AP automation and timely invoicing of receivables, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
