You bring 4–5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1–2 years in public accounting (strongly preferred). You’re proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets; strong data analysis is one of your core strengths. You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills. You thrive in cross-functional, collaborative environments and know how to build effective working relationships. You’re highly organized with strong time-management skills and can balance working independently while also being a strong team contributor. You’re comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities. You’re flexible, curious, and energized by tackling new challenges and learning new approaches. You think strategically and can connect day-to-day work to broader business outcomes. CPA licensure is a plus.

Requirements

  • You bring 4–5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1–2 years in public accounting (strongly preferred).
  • You’re proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets; strong data analysis is one of your core strengths.
  • You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • You thrive in cross-functional, collaborative environments and know how to build effective working relationships.
  • You’re highly organized with strong time-management skills and can balance working independently while also being a strong team contributor.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of customer billing and collections with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, payments, and renewals to ensure strong vendor relationships and streamlined processes.
  • Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly financial reporting packages for leadership.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and proactively resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and post journal entries with precision and appropriate documentation.
  • Lead or support external audits, preparing audit work papers and serving as a key point of contact for auditors.
  • Analyze financial data to identify insights, trends, and opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, GAAP standards, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Support ad hoc initiatives and special projects to help the team and business achieve key objectives.
