What you will do to contribute to the company's success Support the Finance & Accounting team by being a strong team player that is willing to assist others for the good of the team Oversight and execution of the Company’s monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities relevant to revenue in accordance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606, including journal entries, account analysis and reconciliation processes Design and implement standard processes and procedures across all entities as it relates to revenue Support ad hoc analysis requests and participate in revenue standardization and integration projects Ensure internal controls are designed and operating effectively, identifies deficiencies, develops corrective action plans, and continues monitoring for timely remediation and closure. Drive efficiencies through automation and optimized processes Analyze business changes for implications to revenue and documents findings. Research technical accounting guidance and prepares technical accounting memos as needed. Develop productive working relationships and collaborate with business partners and stakeholders such as Operations, Financial Reporting, Internal Audit, and External Auditors by providing support and maintaining effective communication This position has the expectation and responsibility to take on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college with primary study in Accounting Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 5 years or more Progressive experience within public company environment.
  • Ability to efficiently work remotely or in the office as needed.
  • Superb attention to detail and strong planning and organization skills with concern for quality and deadlines.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (Pivots, Lookups, IF statements, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to determine trends.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to think creatively, anticipate problems and opportunities, and develop vision for continuous improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to quickly and positively influence all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work extra hours as needed to support the financial close.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) is Preferred, but not required.
