Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required
• 3–5 years of experience in software revenue accounting.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to meet monthly deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Accounting (preferred but not required).
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Review executed customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606.
• Approve revenue allocations and plans in the ERP system to ensure accurate general ledger entries and support monthly close.
• Provide revenue accounting guidance to Legal and Sales teams during contract negotiations.
• Prepare supporting documentation including revenue checklists, allocation spreadsheets, and technical memos.
• Assist with Fair Value (SSP) analyses of historical transactions.
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by coordinating with external auditors.
• Contribute to SEC filings and technical accounting research as needed.
