The responsibilities of the job include, but not limited to, the following: Closing the books monthly while reviewing and preparing journal entries; Reviewing and preparing account reconciliations; Assisting in the year-end audit; Assisting in Accounts Payable and Payroll functions; Preparing, reviewing, and recording contractuals and write-offs; Assisting in the other Accounting department duties when requested by the Assistant Coordinator and Controller; Creating numerous internal and external financial reports. Minimum educational and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: Bachelor's degree required with course studies in principles of Accounting and intermediate Accounting; Master's Degree in Accounting preferred; Two to three years of experience required; CPA candidate preferred; Candidate must have strong computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Excel, Abra, Crystal Reports. and Exact Software Macola.
