Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's Degree . in Accounting
• 3 - 7 years accounting or finance experience
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff, clients and colleagues
• Thrives in an environment that celebrates excellence and "does what it takes" to meet and exceed client and staff expectations

Responsibilities

• Process ing , record ing and reconcil ing financial transactions including the review of accounts payable, cash disbursements, billings and cash receipts
• Assist ing with the month-end and year-end closing process, including the supervision of collections, and the review of fixed assets, sales and use taxes, personal property taxes, and franchise taxes
• Prepar ing day-to-day and month end close entries including payroll administration, fringe, investment allocations, and grant allocations
• Develop ing and maintain ing an understanding of the accounting operations within each assigned client
• Obtain ing a working knowledge of the client's accounting software packages
