The Senior Account Representative is a field-based role responsible for developing and supporting purchasing relationships with salvage and recycling yards. This position involves sourcing opportunities, traveling to customer locations, and purchasing catalytic converters and non-ferrous metals in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Following each purchase, the Senior Account Representative is responsible for properly securing, loading, and transporting purchased materials to an assigned collection hub. At the hub, materials are unloaded, sorted, and prepared for shipment to the corporate office, with an emphasis on accuracy, accountability, and safe handling. This role combines customer-facing work, independent travel, and hands-on operations, making it well-suited for candidates who enjoy variety, autonomy, and building long-term business relationships in the field.
