About The Position

Assist the Account Executive, Broker and Producer with marketing and servicing of new and renewal business. Coordinate with production team and insurance carriers to facilitate a successful client renewal. Manage administrative functions for assigned team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 7 -10 plus years of relevant work experience required
  • State specific license is required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to train other team members in Duties & Responsibilities of Account Manager role
  • Manage assigned duties with independent decision-making authority
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred proficiency in ECerts and EPIC or other equivalent Agency Management System

Responsibilities

  • Discuss renewal strategy meeting with A/E both internally and with client
  • Prepare for renewal outputs: Review certificate holder list and provide to client
  • Create and maintain master certificate templates
  • Issue and distribute renewal certificates
  • Issue Auto ID cards for clients at renewal and as needed.
  • Develop premium allocation schedules by line of business
  • Work with placement team to create presentations for the insured, including but not limited to proposal
  • Send placement documents (binders, policies, posting notices etc.) to clients including managing subjectivities, and ensure that the transmittal documents are maintained in compliance with established standards.
  • Manage the processing of premium payments: Determine if Premium Financing is needed and obtain quotes
  • Receivables - process and deliver invoices to client including checking receivables amounts for accuracy
  • Payables - collect and review for accuracy carrier invoices
  • Work with CAC accounting, financing and surplus lines teams to ensure both receivables and payables are closed out in a timely manner.
  • Complete any necessary forms for surplus lines tax filings
  • Manage the processing of checking policies: Follow up with carriers for timely issuance of the policy
  • Ensure policies are filed in compliance with established standards (ie Agency Management System / Platform etc)
  • Send policies to Resource Pro for policy checking, along with necessary source documents
  • Work with account team to reconcile any deficiencies noted on policy check report
  • Send policies to clients including reporting of any necessary corrective endorsements
  • Manage collection and transmittal of any necessary correcting endorsements
  • Responsible for maintaining client file in the Agency Management System and shared drive in compliance with established standards including filing of key documents (i.e policies, endorsements, invoices, Autos ID Cards, Certificates, Audits etc.)
  • Monitor expiration dates of all policies
  • Handle ad hoc requests for certificates, auto id cards, endorsements
  • New clients: Set up in Agency Management System (EPIC or other similar system)
  • Work with Brokers to obtain copies of policies from carriers
  • Request and review prior brokers Schedule of Insurance, recreate for CAC
  • Request and review certificate copies and an excel schedule, update as needed and import into CAC’s certificate management system.
  • Request, review and recreate for CAC the Auto ID Cards
  • Develop and maintain account handling instructions
  • Other duties as assigned
