About The Position

As an Account Executive within AWS Global Financial Services (GFS), you are driving digital transformations through effective engagement with C-level executives, business development executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses for the most strategic Global AWS Accounts. You are establishing Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the strategic accounts you manage, promoting adoption of the entire AWS services portfolio to Global Customers. On a daily basis you empower your customers to solve challenges while attaining both their operational and innovation goals. You deliver business outcomes while guiding them to become more agile, innovative, and efficient. Requirements

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • 8+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry or with financial services customers

  • Experience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with business unit C-suite business and technology leaders to identify, develop, and close significant opportunities that drive innovation and growth for the customer
  • Foster existing relationships and build new relationships to create new opportunities
  • Partner with a team of Solutions Architects, Customer Solutions Managers, Professional Services, and Partners to develop and deliver compelling solutions and offers
  • Contribute to the leadership of a global account team with presence on four continents
  • Position AWS services ranging from compute, networking, and storage, to serverless, to AI, ML, and Generative AI.
  • Contribute to critical mechanisms such as weekly and monthly business reviews, pipeline maintenance, and financial management.
