About The Position

A global commercial insurance broker is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join its Property & Casualty (P&C) department. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 15 complex corporate accounts, leveraging in-depth Property & Casualty insurance knowledge to deliver strategic solutions, ensure client satisfaction, and drive account retention.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on Property & Casualty (P&C).
  • Active P&C license required.
  • Extensive knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance, including complex corporate accounts, multi-line programs, and specialized risk exposures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end property and casualty insurance renewal process for mid-to-large corporate clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all renewal activities.
  • Develop and implement strategic insurance programs, including market analysis, risk assessment, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering professional guidance, presentations, and recommendations tailored to their business needs.
  • Manage complex risk portfolios, including multi-line coverage, layered programs, and specialized exposures.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums with insurance carriers to achieve optimal solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers, Customer Service Specialists, to coordinate data collection, risk evaluation, and policy structuring.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to proactively advise clients on risk management strategies and insurance solutions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, visiting for a meeting, providing ongoing support, education, and guidance throughout the policy lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, client requirements, and insurance regulations.
  • Assist with prospective client meetings and presentations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
