We are seeking a high‑performing Senior Sales Executive with deep payer market expertise to own and expand a defined portfolio of named strategic payer accounts located on the West Coast. In this role, you will be responsible for deepening relationships within existing health plans, PBMs, and payer organizations by expanding solution adoption, increasing wallet share, and driving long‑term account growth. You will lead the full enterprise sales lifecycle within your named accounts—developing account strategies, positioning healthcare technology and data solutions, managing RFPs and renewals, negotiating contracts, and partnering closely with client success to maximize value, retention, and expansion. Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional consultative selling skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior payer executives, technology decision‑makers, and cross‑functional stakeholders. Requirements

  • Proven track record of expanding revenue and solution footprint within large, complex payer organizations, demonstrating the ability to deepen relationships, increase wallet share, and drive multi‑year account growth.
  • 7–10+ years of enterprise sales experience selling healthcare technology, SaaS, analytics, or data platforms to payer organizations, with a strong emphasis on strategic account expansion.
  • Strong account management and expansion skill set, with the ability to develop and execute long‑term account strategies across named enterprise accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and build new buying centers within existing payer organizations, engaging additional stakeholders, business units, and executive sponsors.
  • Clear history of meeting or exceeding quota through expansion revenue, renewals, and upsell/cross‑sell motions within established enterprise accounts.
  • Deep understanding of payer operations (claims, UM, PA, risk, quality, care management, member engagement, interoperability, analytics) to effectively position additional solutions within existing customers.
  • Executive‑level communication and consultative selling skills, with experience leading strategic conversations that uncover new use cases and expansion opportunities inside current accounts.
  • Expertise navigating competitive expansion deal cycles, positioning differentiated value to displace or coexist with incumbent solutions and grow market share within a portfolio of payer accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Owning and managing a portfolio of named, enterprise‑level payer accounts, serving as the primary commercial relationship owner across each organization.
  • Developing and executing strategic, multi‑year account plans that drive increased market share, solution adoption, and long-term revenue growth within assigned accounts.
  • Expanding the company’s footprint by identifying new use cases, business units, and buying centers within existing payer organizations.
  • Building and maintaining trusted executive‑level relationships across clinical, operational, technology, and financial stakeholders.
  • Leading all expansion, renewal, and upsell sales motions within assigned accounts, including opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and deal strategy.
  • Managing RFPs, renewals, amendments, and contract expansions, partnering closely with legal, finance, and procurement teams.
  • Collaborating closely with Client Success, Product, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction, drive adoption, and surface expansion opportunities.
  • Navigating competitive expansion and renewal cycles, effectively positioning differentiated value to protect and grow share of wallet.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline management and forecasting for expansion and renewal opportunities within the portfolio.
  • Acting as the internal advocate for assigned accounts, aligning customer needs with product roadmaps and go‑to‑market strategy.
