About The Position

We are looking for a high-energy, results-oriented Senior Account Executive to join our growing Eagle Logistics Systems team in San Juan. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with strong experience in transportation and logistics services, particularly within domestic and third-party logistics (3PL) environments. This position is designed as a leadership-track opportunity for a high-performing individual who demonstrates strong business development capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to contribute beyond individual sales production. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a broader leadership role based on performance and demonstrated management potential, while leveraging deep knowledge of the Puerto Rico logistics market and established relationships within the region.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in domestic logistics and/or third-party logistics (3PL) sales within the Puerto Rico market, with a strong understanding of the local logistics landscape and customer base
  • Proven experience managing and/or leading sales professionals, including coaching, mentoring, and driving team performance
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting international freight, LCL, and multimodal services within the Puerto Rico market is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and pursue potential customers and key decision-makers within the Puerto Rico market, developing and executing territory growth strategies
  • Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling, scheduling face-to-face meetings, and preparing sales presentations to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Build, manage, and maintain long-term customer relationships while consistently meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets
  • Track and manage sales activity using CRM tools and support daily commercial operations
  • Represent Eagle Logistics’ full range of logistics solutions supporting customers in the Puerto Rico market
  • Contribute to the development of sales processes, territory expansion strategies, and team performance standards
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities by supporting onboarding, mentoring, coaching initiatives, and contributing to team development efforts
