As a Senior Account Executive, Strategic Alliances, you will own and grow strategic relationships with key ISV partners—starting with Workday. This role requires a partner-centric, business development mindset and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach to expanding our alliance ecosystem. Reporting to the Global VP of Strategic Alliances, you will manage the full partnership lifecycle, including: Business Development Go-To-Market (GTM) Initiatives Partner Enablement & Growth You’ll work cross-functionally to drive partner-led initiatives that generate pipeline, accelerate deals, and close ACV, while enabling joint selling motions across industries and geographies and supporting product co-innovation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in alliances/partnerships with a proven record of driving sales growth.
  • Deep knowledge of eLearning, HCM, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Proven experience with Workday alliance partnerships or GTM initiatives.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize diverse perspectives and drive consensus.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and skilled in solution positioning.
  • Proficient in managing executive-level partner relationships.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and execute a global business plan to drive revenue growth, solution differentiation, and deployment success. Identify new routes to market and innovative offerings leveraging Skillsoft and partner capabilities. Lead sales planning activities: Sales Plays, GTM strategies, targets, metrics, and reporting.
  • Partner Relationship Management Build and maintain trusted executive relationships with partner stakeholders. Deliver compelling presentations on partner value propositions and GTM strategies. Monitor and report on partnership performance; recommend improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with internal teams to ensure successful execution of alliance initiatives. Represent Skillsoft at partner events and speaking engagements. Coordinate enablement sessions, community calls, and training globally.
  • Campaign Development Collaborate with regional sales leaders and industry executives to develop joint campaigns and events. Work with marketing and solution teams from both organizations to execute campaigns. Conduct regular alignment meetings with sales and services leaders.
  • Sales Development Drive revenue through partnerships: Identify, develop, and close partner-sourced and influenced opportunities. Build and manage a robust pipeline aligned with strategic growth goals. Apply a metrics-driven approach to outreach, meetings, and pipeline coverage.
