About The Position

ScorePlay is scaling quickly and thriving, partnering with some of the most exciting customers in the world - leading sports teams and leagues. As a Senior Account Executive, Strategic Accounts, North America at ScorePlay, you will play a pivotal role in driving our rapid growth with leagues, federations, and major sports organizations across the region. This role is designed for a proven deal-closer who thrives on building high-value relationships and securing enterprise-level contracts ($200K+). You will be responsible for achieving ambitious sales targets by identifying, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities. You’ll work collaboratively with customer success, marketing, and product teams to ensure our solutions deliver measurable impact for our clients and align with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven success in Enterprise B2B sales, ideally within sports, media, or technology, with a strong track record of closing large-scale deals ($200K+).
  • Strategic and results-driven mindset, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and secure long-term partnerships.
  • This position is in-person in our New York City office with travel to client site.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and contract execution, with a focus on enterprise deals $200K+.
  • Develop and execute effective account strategies to expand ScorePlay’s footprint within sports leagues, federations, and governing bodies.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records in the CRM system.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sports ecosystem.
  • Build and nurture strong executive-level relationships with decision-makers at leagues, federations, and strategic partners.
  • Leverage your existing network to generate referrals and expand ScorePlay’s presence in strategic accounts.
  • Represent ScorePlay at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen visibility and credibility in the sports sector.
  • Work closely with customer success, marketing, and product teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
  • Share actionable market insights to influence product roadmap, marketing positioning, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to create tailored collateral, proposals, and presentations for strategic sports clients.
