About the role Roku is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Sponsorships to support and accelerate growth across our Emerging portfolio, with a focus on Independent Agencies and Client Direct business. This role will partner closely with the Indy sales team to drive investment in Roku’s higher-impact, premium sponsorship offerings, helping clients achieve meaningful brand visibility while unlocking incremental revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned seller and strategic partner who brings deep sponsorship expertise, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a consultative approach to client engagement. For Chicago Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $148,000 and $170,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for incentive compensation/commissions, health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Account Executive, with a strong background in sponsorships or high-impact media solutions.
  • Proven ability to partner with sales teams to drive growth, influence investment decisions, and close complex sponsorship deals.
  • Strong strategic mindset with experience packaging integrated, premium offerings for brand advertisers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with comfort engaging senior-level client and agency leaders.
  • Ability to operate as a trusted advisor and internal advocate, balancing client needs with business priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Independent Agencies and/or Client Direct business preferred.
  • Experience partnering with clients on sports and/or content activations is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Sponsorship subject matter expert, supporting the Indy and Client Direct teams with strategy, packaging, and execution across Roku’s premium sponsorship offerings.
  • Partner closely with the Independent Agency team to identify growth opportunities and accelerate adoption of higher-impact sponsorship solutions.
  • Develop and package integrated sponsorship programs aligned to client objectives, tentpole moments, and new product launches.
  • Stay current on Roku sponsorship products, tentpole releases, and evolving offerings; streamline and simplify how solutions are positioned internally and externally.
  • Identify opportunities for incremental revenue growth and advocate for these initiatives across internal stakeholders to drive efficiency and scale.
  • Provide strategic guidance to sellers and clients, ensuring sponsorship recommendations deliver measurable impact and strong ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., marketing, product, planning) to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
