Requirements

  • Extensive experience and exposure across a range of industry sectors and marketing disciplines, together with comprehensive experience agency side. Experience of SEO and organic digital strategy and campaign delivery is an essential requirement for this role.
  • 7+ years in marketing, with relevant agency-side experience and a strong background in SEO and organic digital strategy.
  • Demonstrated track record of excellent client relationship development and service including extensive experience managing global enterprise clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Evidence of your ability to independently create, develop, plan and implement marketing communications strategies and campaigns
  • Skills: meticulous attention to detail, complex project management skills, strong financial acumen, analytical and creative capabilities, excellent communication and confident and persuasive presentation skills.
  • degree-level education; professional marketing qualifications (CIM or IDM) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership: you’ll continuously refine your understanding of organic marketing and the wider marketing mix. You’ll work directly with clients to get to the crux of their needs and goals and then craft appropriate strategies to achieve them. You’ll manage the effective implementation of the strategy from scoping to kick-off to wash-up and report on account-level performance throughout.
  • Relationship building: you’ll use your deep understanding of your clients’ businesses to identify and convert opportunities to retain and grow the accounts in your portfolio. You will generate ideas to enhance account performance and establish strong trust and multi-tiered agency-client relationships through regular formal and informal communication and face time with clients.
  • Account performance management: you will work with clients and agency teams to understand and achieve client KPIs, maintain account profitability, and manage expectations effectively. You’ll conduct strategic business reviews with clients, using data-driven storytelling.
  • Support the Client Partner in the delivery of our Client Services Strategy and ensure all our client accounts have the appropriate skills and resources assigned to them.
  • Lead a team of Account Managers, fostering positive team culture based on trust, strong career development and well-being support.
  • Leverage your deep understanding of client needs to provide valuable commercial insights to our marketing activity.
  • Contribute to our new and existing business process by leveraging client relationships, providing strategic insights, participating in pitches, developing tailored proposals, identifying upsell opportunities, and managing post-pitch follow-up to secure business.
  • Ensure work is accurately scoped and agreed as per our contractual terms.
  • Drive and consistently review account profitability across the team manage forecasts, reconciliation and invoicing and handle complex financial negotiations with clients.
  • Ensure team’s compliance with internal procedures, including invoicing, purchasing, and job management.
