About The Position

Time Out is seeking a results-driven and relationship-oriented Senior Account Executive to lead strategic initiatives that drive revenue through brand, media and experiential partnerships. This role focuses on building and expanding relationships with brand/client partners & agencies that align with Time Out’s mission to spotlight the best of city life. Client direct relationships are paramount in this role. he candidate should be a strong communicator, a creative thinker, and a proactive seller who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic media environment.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in advertising sales, business development, or media partnerships, preferably in lifestyle, digital media, or publishing
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and building strong client relationships.
  • Deep understanding of digital media, branded content, and experiential/ event sponsorships.
  • Strong network of brand and agency contacts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute advertising strategies that grow revenue across digital, print, experiential, and branded content platforms.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients across multiple verticals (CPG, Fashion/Beauty are focus categories).
  • Collaborate with internal teams including creative solutions,m branded content, and account management to create compelling advertising solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals; forecast pipeline and track performance.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitive offerings, and consumer insights to position Time Out as a leading media partner.
  • Mentor junior (sales) team members and work cross-functionally to ensure campaign success from pitch to execution.
