About The Position

At Veritas Church, we believe the mission of God calls us to proactively go toward others with the good news of Jesus Christ. Because of this, we place a high priority on being a church that sends everyday missionaries—across the street, across the campus, across the country, and across the world. The Veritas Residency Program exists to give recent college graduates an authentic, full-time ministry experience that integrates theological development, discipleship, and hands-on ministry alongside a staff team. Residents grow as disciples, learn to live as everyday missionaries, and develop a healthy, compelling vision for the local church and global mission. The Sending / Missions Resident plays a key role in cultivating a culture of mission at Veritas Church by mobilizing members toward local and global engagement, strengthening international welcoming ministry, and supporting the systems and initiatives that equip Veritas to be a sending church. The Sending / Missions Resident focuses on mobilization, cross-cultural discipleship, relational ministry, and departmental support.
