Raytheon is hiring a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer 1st shift (6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, plus every other Friday) on a 9/80 schedule. This role is responsible for supporting the lead equipment engineer in maintaining Photo Lithography and metrology tools sets including but not limited to: microscopes, ovens, various resist tracks, SEM, overlays, Mask Aligners, and more/ You will maintain troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment, including electrical, electro‑mechanical, and gas systems typical of semiconductor manufacturing operations. Over time, responsibilities will expand to include additional equipment sets.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior experience.
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards
  • Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
  • Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations.
  • Able to document work and provide detailed pass down.
  • Ability to pull and analyze tool date.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and support a dynamic production setting.
  • Proficient use of MS Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose equipment issues using experience, system knowledge, and technical manuals.
  • Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs.
  • Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.
