Raytheon is hiring a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer assigned to 2nd shift with the hours of 1:30pm-11pm Mon-Thursday and every other Friday on a 9/80 schedule. Candidate will be a shift support engineer and be responsible for the uptime and maintenance of Metal evaporation and lift off equipment; and work hands on in a cleanroom environment. The candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment within the clean room environment. This Includes high levels of experience, electrical, electro-mechanical, and gas systems typically found in a semiconductor operation. Future expansion to support a wider range of equipment is expected.

Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards
• Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
• Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations.
• Able to document work and provide detailed pass down.
• Ability to pull and analyze tool date.
• Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.
• Knowledge of thin‑film metrology (ellipsometry, XRR, TEM, XPS, FTIR).
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and support a dynamic production setting.
• Proficient use of MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment issues using experience, system knowledge, and technical manuals.
• Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs.
• Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.
