About The Position

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is a world leader in the research, design, and manufacturing of focal plane arrays and flight-based vision systems. Our 3D integration and Imaging System department provides would class semiconductor and focal plane array for Electro-Optical Infrared systems in support of production and development products across multiple domains. We have an opportunity for a Semiconductor Device Engineer. What You Will Do Lead the development, modeling, and simulation of advanced semiconductor devices, translating customer requirements for Electro-Optical Infrared (EOIR) systems into innovative and viable product solutions. Leverage deep technical expertise in semiconductor physics, TCAD software, and related processes to drive the advancement of infrared detector technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet or exceed customer expectations. Conduct data analysis to evaluate testing and performance of semiconductor devices to develop advanced SCAs utilizing single and dual color HgCdTe/HCT, III/V (InGaAs, SLS, nBn and others) semiconductor detector technologies. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including internal mission partners, external customers, and vendors. Lead a cross functional integrated product team (IPT) team comprised of both technical and not technical contributes to meet or exceed customer requirements.
