About The Position

You will be the Semi Conductor Equipment Engineering Manager for the Semiconductor Equipment Engineering team. Our team is responsible for driving equipment performance and reliability across semiconductor wafer production. What You Will Be Doing As the Semi Conductor Equipment Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading a high‑performing group of engineers and technicians to maximize equipment effectiveness, ensure safe operations, and support capital initiatives. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Execute strategies to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness, including equipment availability, yield, cycle time, reliability, and safety. Lead technical troubleshooting of equipment, debugging PLCs, reviewing code, and interpreting schematics to resolve unplanned downtime. Support capital planning and oversee evaluation, installation, and validation of new equipment. Manage vendor and supplier relationships, serving as primary point of contact. Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Requirements

  • Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in maintaining and supporting Semiconductor Equipment.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical expertise with advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience applying lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Must be a US Citizen (This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance)

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years in a semi conductor fabrication environment acting as an Equipment Engineer or Equipment Engineering Manager.
  • Certified LSS Green or Black Belt.
