About The Position

Public Storage is seeking a Self Storage Manager to work independently at multiple locations. This role involves assessing customer storage needs, making suggestions including selling packing and moving supplies, conducting daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and managing customer payments through reminder and collection calls. The position requires spending time both inside and outside the facilities, performing cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, and ensuring exterior grounds and curb appeal are clean and free of debris.

Requirements

Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
Valid driver’s license.
Utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business.
Ability to transport lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
Ability to walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
