About The Position

Public Storage is seeking a Self Storage Manager (referred to as Property Manager in the job description) to work independently across multiple locations. This role involves a blend of indoor and outdoor tasks, focusing on customer service, sales, and property maintenance. Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs, selling moving supplies, conducting daily unit inspections, managing cash and bank deposits, and handling customer payments and collections. The manager is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and curb appeal of the facilities.

Requirements

Experience from customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies
Valid driver’s license
Utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business

Responsibilities

Work independently at multiple locations
Spend time both inside and outside facilities
Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability
Ensure spaces are ready to rent
Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits
Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris
