About The Position
ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite in the Liverpool area for a 9-year-old boy with autism. His family is looking for a dedicated, active individual to provide him with support and supervision, both at home and in the community. We are looking for an individual who is dependable, patient, enthusiastic and able to work independently. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Requirements
- Reliable vehicle
- New York State driver's license
- Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency
Responsibilities
- Supervision at home
- Accompanying and supporting him during community outings
- Supporting him with health and safety needs
- Providing transportation, as needed
