About The Position

ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Cicero area with a young lady who requires assistance due to a physical/developmental delay. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to provide her with support and assist her with maintaining her independence both at home and in community settings. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, patient, energetic and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus, but not required. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Work hours include Monday through Friday, 7:30/8am - 3/3:30pm, and occasional hours on weekends as needed. Flexibility to fill in for other staff a plus. The pay rate is $24 per hour. This is a full-time position which will allow this staff to be eligible for Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance/etc. along with earning time off. ARISE/EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
