Seneca Foods Corporation of Le Sueur, MN, a seed research and development facility located approximately 40 miles from the Twin Cities metro area, is currently seeking a Seed Research Technician to join its team for the 2026 summer production season.

Motivated individuals with an interest in Agriculture, Science, or working in an outdoor environment are encouraged to apply for this opportunity. The technician will gain hands-on, team-based industry experience working with pea, bean, and sweet corn breeding programs.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Willingness to follow proper research procedures.

• Background in Agriculture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow and care for plants in the greenhouse/field
• Sweet corn nursery pollination
• Assist with field trial planting preparation and harvest
• Data collection, data entry, and data evaluation
• Quality control
• Seed inventory management
• Other duties as assigned
