About The Position

General Purpose: Ensures safety and security of members and employees of facility. Essential Duties: ¨ Observes persons entering, exiting, or loitering in or around facilities and responds to security related complaints from residents, members, guests, and employees. ¨ Conducts routine walk-arounds of the property at scheduled and random times. ¨ Ensures that doors are locked and property is secure. ¨ Responds to accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities. Documents details and advises management. Maintains logs and reports of all related activities. ¨ Provides security coverage for special events programs. ¨ Enforces all rules and regulations set forth by facility. ¨ Identifies and corrects any safety hazards. ¨ Performs light maintenance duties including but not limited to: changing locks and light bulbs. ¨ Regular and reliable attendance. ¨ Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Regularly stands, walks, talks and hears. Regularly uses hands. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
  • Driver’s License, CPR and First Aid Training.
  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job
