About The Position

We empower our team to surprise and delight guests in thoughtful, memorable ways. For many travelers, The Lenox becomes their home in Boston, and our team is at the heart of that experience. We’re seeking a full-time, Security Agent to join the team. Our security team work as ambassadors to the hotel, creating a welcoming, safe environment. Candidates with availability to work from 11pm-7am on Friday & Saturday, and then 630pm-230am three other nights are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Excellent verbal communication skills in English. Multilingual a plus
A guest-focused mindset and comfort interacting with the public
Ability to work overnight hours, specifically Fridays and Saturdays
Prior security experience, specifically in a hotel is preferred
Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to stand for up to 6 hours at a time.
Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Provide a warm greeting to all who enter our lobby and restaurants.
Assist with questions on hotel amenities, including our three restaurants.
Ensure the interior and exterior of the building is secure. Perform periodic tours
Deescalate any security issues that may arise in a safe, respectful manner.
Assist restaurant security with occupancy management and checking IDs.
Deliver items to guest rooms, including room service orders during the overnight
Assist with valet requests
Report any security matters timely and accurately.
