The Security position is responsible for protecting guests, employees, and casino assets. This includes efficiently and effectively responding to requests for emergency or security assistance, controlling emergency situations, and minimizing risk. The role requires adherence to established security protocols, compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal procedures, and maintaining effective working relationships with all guests and employees. Key responsibilities involve investigating incidents, escorting money and asset transfers, patrolling casino parking lots, monitoring for potential problems like excessive alcohol consumption or unacceptable behavior, and verifying customers are 21+ years of age. The incumbent must wear and maintain uniforms properly, report violations, and remain alert, exercising caution and evaluating circumstances for appropriate security or safety responses. Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement, and the role may involve providing emergency First Aid and CPR if properly trained and certified.
