About The Position

Are you a vigilant, safety-minded professional looking to make a tangible impact on the lives of young men? Spectrum Justice Services is seeking dedicated individuals to join our security team in Highland Park, MI. As a Security Transporter, you are the front line of safety, ensuring secure movement and a stable environment for youth ages 12 to 20 within our high-security residential treatment facility. In this role, your primary mission is to protect our youth, staff, and community. You will be responsible for: Secure Transportation: Managing the safe travel and transportation of youth participants. Vigilant Monitoring: Overseeing outdoor recreation areas and tracking both authorized and unauthorized visitors. Rapid Response: Acting as a first responder to any crisis situations occurring on or off facility grounds. Operational Oversight: Ensuring building fire safety and monitoring staff access and daily program operations. Since 1976, Spectrum has been committed to the dignity and respect of every individual. Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Must be 21 or older.
  • Valid and unrestricted Michigan driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a physical exam, TB test, and drug screening.
  • Must obtain DHHS Central Registry, Criminal Background, and National Sex Offender Registry clearances.
