Business Operations manages various shared support services and enterprise-wide functions to include records information management, business continuity planning, workplace safety and security, travel, food service, staff health clinic, fitness center, parking garage, facilities and real estate management, media operations and print and mail services. The Security Technology Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s physical security technology programs and initiatives. This role combines strategic planning, vendor management, and technology innovation to ensure the protection of people, assets, and facilities while driving efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience, with 5+ years of experience in physical security operations, security technology, risk management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance programs and tools; Genetec platform experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of emerging physical security technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Experience managing outsourced security integrators and/or internal teams responsible for physical security system operations.
  • Working knowledge of guard force operations, experience conducting physical security threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments, and demonstrated ability to implement and maintain the full lifecycle of security technologies and applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience installing, programming, troubleshooting, and repairing physical access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and related systems.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical documentation, construction plans, and as-built drawings while recommending and implementing physical security countermeasures.
  • Professional certifications such as CPP or PSP, along with Genetec and/or Axis certifications, and active participation in physical security professional associations (e.g., ASIS, SIA).

Responsibilities

  • Manages access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems across HQ and satellite offices.
  • Oversees outsourced security integrator relationships, including budgeting, contract negotiations, and technical performance.
  • Supports management of outsourced guard force operations and ensure alignment with security technology standards.
  • Develop awareness and training materials for integrators, guard force personnel, and employees.
  • Conducts threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments; implement corrective actions to close gaps. Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational security standards.
  • Establishes security technology roadmaps, governance frameworks, standard operating procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Evaluates emerging solutions and leads adoption of advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, facial authentication, biometrics, and analytics to enhance security and operational efficiency.
  • Designs and integrates new technologies into existing security systems. Ensures secure networking, server configurations, interoperability, and minimal disruption to operations.
