Learn more at www.pavion.com Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Residential Low Voltage Technician to join our security business unit. The Low Voltage Technician installs, maintains, and troubleshoots low-voltage systems including fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion, structured cabling, and related technologies. This role supports safe, code-compliant installations and high-quality service for customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in low voltage systems is a plus
  • 2+ years working with low voltage systems
  • Experience with Access Control products, Security Systems, Cameras, and Alarms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, tools, and work in various physical environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with security systems such as Genetec or Lenel
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, test, and service low-voltage systems
  • Read and follow drawings, schematics, and work orders
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes and company standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and customers
  • Complete job documentation accurately
