About The Position

The Security Team Manager (STM) serves as the day to day manager of a site security team that includes administrative officers, responders, and other security personnel at their site. The STM is responsible for building a cohesive and high performing team. Reporting directly to the campus security manager, the STM works alongside other security team managers in their campus to ensure a safe and secure environment. Additional job functions may include client service and problem resolution, service enhancement, security operations center (SOC) systems maintenance, audit compliance, system monitoring, log maintenance, and access rights maintenance.

Requirements

18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
Standard computer / technology skills needed.
All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Must have a reliable means of communication, such as cell phone.
Must have a reliable means of transportation.
Must hold or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license or equivalent.
Must have the legal right and security license to work in the country where the position is located.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
Able to work evening or weekend hours when required, such as during an emergency event or crisis.
4 years of related experience in security industry or business management equivalents.
Associate degree in relevant field or commensurate works experiences.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Experience with staff supervision.
Highly motivated, energetic, self-directed individual with analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, sharing technical concepts to a varied audience.
Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
Effective leadership of team service delivery and development across a global environment.
Ability to adapt to new and changing environments.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills.
High attention to detail.
Comfortable presenting information to large audiences both online and in-person.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

Ensures all responders and control room supervisors adhere to policies and standard operating procedures.
Oversees site security systems to ensure safe and compliant operation of the facility.
Acts as responder or control room supervisor in periods of increased activity or in the case of absent staff.
Maintains and troubleshoots on-site security technology.
Recommends corrective actions for security staff to the campus security manager.
Assists with the delivery of counseling and corrective action as directed by the campus security manager.
Assists with site equipment inspections, and audit compliance.
Conducts recalling audits, prepares, and submits critical and confidential information directly to client management team.
Maintains required security documentation, ensuring accuracy in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Serves as primary point of contact to datacenter management and security personnel when the campus security manager is unavailable.
