As an Overnight Security Associate, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, owners, and team members. You’ll provide proactive, professional security services while delivering exceptional hospitality. Schedule: Full-Time, Year Round; This position is primarily an afternoon shift which is from 3pm - 11:30pm, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Ability to patrol the property for 8-9 hours at a time
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to greet and interact with guests in a friendly and effective manner.
- Have full and open availability and can work any shift including weekends and holidays.
- Must have previous computer experience and excellent verbal and written social skills to write incident reports
Nice To Haves
- Prior security experience in the hotel/hospitality industry
- Military or law enforcement background
- Current First Aid/CPR certifications
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and random inspections of property and grounds to prevent theft, vandalism, fire, and accidents.
- Supervise and respond to emergency and alarm systems.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports and incident documentation.
- Investigate security incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities; gather witness statements and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Provide outstanding guest service—answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with deliveries.
- Patrol the resort’s interior and perimeter to identify potential safety or security risks.
- Administer basic first aid and CPR when vital.
- Support team operations and assist colleagues as needed.
