About The Position

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing daily security operations to ensure the safety and protection of all guests, staff, and property. This role requires leadership in maintaining a secure environment through effective supervision, training, and incident management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of security experience, ideally within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience is highly desirable.
  • Willingness and ability to work across all shifts with the capacity to respond immediately to any property-related emergencies
  • Professional appearance with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Strong time management abilities with the capacity to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in operating necessary computer systems; familiarity with Opera, Microsoft Office Suite, Assa Abloy, KeyWatcher, IR Safes, CCTV and HotSOS is an advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and communicate clearly with both colleagues and guests.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily security operations under the guidance of the Director of Security and Assistant Director of Security to safeguard guests, personnel, and hotel assets.
  • Provide training, mentoring, coaching, counseling, and discipline for Hotel Security Officers.
  • Conduct routine patrols of both the interior and exterior premises, addressing any incidents or suspicious activity as necessary.
  • Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) continuously.
  • Escort VIPs and assist guests with disabilities to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Manage and document all guest and employee incidents, including accidents, room lock issues, noise complaints, and interactions with questionable individuals on the property.
  • Support the development and implementation of preventive safety and security programs, including training related to emergency protocols.
  • Respond promptly to workplace injuries and lead initiatives on injury prevention and safety awareness.
  • Investigate all criminal activities affecting the hotel, guests, or employees, maintaining detailed records of incidents related to crime, potential liabilities, and insurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with hotel staff to manage unusual or emergency situations such as disorderly conduct, theft, bomb threats, fires, robberies, medical emergencies, natural disasters, and other critical incidents.
  • Respond effectively and decisively as Emergency Response Team ERT Lead to all hotel emergencies and safety related situations, ensuring the well being of all individuals on the premises.
