About The Position

About the Role: In this role you will lead, supervise, and develop the company’s security program and personnel by building and maintaining a high-performing security and GSOC team, setting professional standards, and ensuring consistent execution of security policies and procedures across the organization. You will coordinate security efforts through close partnership with cross-functional teams; establish, implement, and monitor companywide security and emergency management standards; and work with internal and external partners to ensure best-practice protection for facilities, executives, special events, and global travel. Travel with executives to provide executive protection when called upon. What you'll do: Supervise the human activity of Nu Skins Provo security department, organizing the establishment of departments and associated positions: Training, supervising, and managing staff, including supervision of two GSOC Officers Establishing performance standards, professional expectations, and accountability Setting guidelines and standards for personnel evaluations, recruitment, and advancement Monitoring employee performance, writing reports and updating records, as required Under the direction of the manager or director develop, implement, coordinate, review, evaluate, and improve security procedures, policies, and organizational initiatives: Assist in formulating, and implementing organizational policies, programs, and other internal campaigns Provide oversight of GSOC operations, including incident monitoring, escalation, reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external responders As directed complete building/facility and Exec home Security Assessments; identify risks and recommend solutions Work closely with management and/or Event representative on collecting critical security data and identify negative security trends, mitigating those trends by creating prevention initiatives, and recommend solutions by training and constant communication Project management by ensuring security standards are being met in all new construction and lease renewal properties. Coordinate closely with facilities, general contractors, and security consultants on each project Provide executive protection for executive management team May help to manage financial budgeting for his/her functional group. Reviewing and interpreting budgetary information and financial data, monitors expenses and performs cost-benefit analysis Assist in the creation of emergency plans and responses to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms following emergency response procedures Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external partners Evaluate security systems; troubleshoot and correct systems deficiencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of related experience or 5–7 years of related experience
  • Trust-based relationships with business unit leaders, government officials, and professional organizations; ability to act as a consultant to all organizational clients
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and communicate on business and security-related risks to the organization
  • Ability to develop a comprehensive risk profile of the organization in collaboration with key stakeholders, along with strategies to assist the organization in managing and mitigating current and emerging risks
  • Ability to contribute dynamic, real-time critical thinking and solutions that enable the organization to “prevent” disruptions from occurring and minimize damage when they do occur
  • Must be willing to travel for brief or extended periods (1 day to a month or more)
  • Must have a valid government issued driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Must have a valid government issued passport
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain a corporate credit card
