Job Description We’re Growing in Maryland! Nexagen Networks continues expanding its cleared operations footprint while supporting the United States Army and Joint missions across secure facilities. We are growing our team of cleared professionals across security operations, facilities support, and mission-critical disciplines. As a Security Specialist – Physical, you will coordinate visitor security and control operations while ensuring compliance with OPSEC, COMSEC, and physical security requirements. You will support inspection readiness, maintain accurate security records, and help protect facilities, technology, and program information within controlled environments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience coordinating visitor security and control and utilizing personnel control record systems.
  • Current and Active Top Secret Clearance is required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous service within a military security environment highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate visitor security and control for the organization, including administration of OPSEC and COMSEC programs.
  • Prepare and present briefings on security programs and administrative services to Program Management personnel.
  • Maintain and control government databases, security files, and personnel control records to ensure accuracy and currency.
  • Interpret DoD Instructions and Army Regulations to maintain compliance and inspection readiness.
  • Conduct security training and evaluate staff processes to mitigate potential security risks.
  • Assist in protecting technology, components, and program information by ensuring appropriate physical security measures are implemented.
