About The Position

SECURITY OFFICER Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Security Officer at GDIT. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Security Officer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of a critical government customer. You will play a crucial role in providing industrial security oversight. Maintain personnel security files as required. Maintain and update US Government security related websites, databases, and systems of record (e.g. Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), local databases, SharePoint, central archive, etc.). Provide Program Access Request (PAR) Management Support Provide Personnel Clearance (PCL) Management Support Ensure security clearances for onsite Government and DoD contractor personnel are current, based on position sensitivity/access level, when compared to the DoD system of record. The Security Officer must have: ● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science ● Experience: 3+ years of related experience, OR an associate’s degree and 4 additional years of experience (7 total), OR 9 total years of relevant experience. ● Technical skills: Knowledge of DODM 5205.07 required. Expertise in processing PARs required. ● Security clearance level: Top Secret/SAP experience desired US citizenship required ● Role requirements: willingness to work on site 5 days per week and travel occasionally. The likely salary range for this position is $75,905 - $102,695. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • 3+ years of related experience, OR an associate’s degree and 4 additional years of experience (7 total), OR 9 total years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of DODM 5205.07 required.
