Torch Technologies is seeking a mid-level Acquisition Security Support Specialist (PERSEC) to support our Air Vehicle team within the System Program Office (SPO). As an Acquisition Security Support Specialist, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: Apply knowledge and experience to support the submission of SAP nominations, adverse and foreign travel reporting, focusing on delivering exceptional service to our SAP customers and execution of all aspects of acquisition program security throughout a program’s life cycle IAW all applicable Government directives relating to SAPs, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and collateral security requirements. The Contractor shall have a strong technical knowledge of JADE and DISS databases and provide policy interpretation and guidance for the Personnel Security Program for the System Program Office, government agencies and all entities involved in the SAP. Process and submit Foreign Travel and Pre-Screening Questionnaire (PSQ) templates to customers to aid in the support of timely reporting mandates set by the customer(s). Coordinate actions with local Program Security teams across the Government organization to ensure the customer requirements are being met for SAP Briefings, Debriefings and adverse reporting IAW SEAD 3 and DoWM 5205.07 regulations. Maintain information held within internal security systems with nomination processes steps to ensure proper tracking of all SAP program nominations. Develop and maintain relationships with various customers, ensuring timely and effective delivery of personnel security services. Identify areas for process improvement and automation and work with the team to implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. This includes but is not limited to working with Government, program prime and subcontractor personnel to create a secure environment through development of sound security practices and policies regarding acquisition, physical, personnel and administrative security; updating security classification guides; preparing acquisition security related sections of acquisition program documentation; reviewing Contractor deliverables; evaluating program information and hardware throughout the program life cycle; planning and implementing security-related surveys, assessments, and studies; and evaluating program security information and hardware throughout the program life cycle (to include studies, analyses, plans, procedures, production, test plans/results, transportation, technology, and storage of end items). The candidate may be appointed as primary/alternate Security roles, as needed. Candidate will also be instrumental in identifying areas for process improvement and automation, leveraging their technical expertise to implement innovative solutions and enhance the overall efficiency of our personnel security operations.
