About The Position

14419 – Security Solutions Architect (hybrid) – Doral, FL Start Date : ASAP Type: Contract to hire Estimated Duration : 18+ months contract to hire Work Setting: Hybrid. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Requirements

  • Experience in technology roles, with increasing responsibility across architecture, infrastructure, and security domains (5-8 years);
  • Experience as a Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or Security Architect role within a large-scale, complex environment (3-5 years);
  • Experience with designing and governing enterprise‑level and hybrid solution architectures across on‑prem, cloud, and edge/shipboard environments, including defining architecture standards, reference architectures, and reusable design patterns.;
  • Experience in translating business, operational, and regulatory requirements into scalable, resilient technical solutions involving network topology and segmentation, secure connectivity, virtualized and cloud workloads, and application/data integration patterns, while providing architectural oversight through production deployment;
  • Experience with embedding cybersecurity principles into architecture designs, applying Zero Trust and defense‑in‑depth strategies, conducting security architecture reviews, identifying control gaps, supporting vulnerability management and remediation, and working with frameworks such as NIST CSF and PCI DSS;
  • Experience supporting gaming, hospitality, maritime, financial services, or other regulated industries;
  • Experience with shipboard or highly distributed operational environments;
  • Architecture or security certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, CISM, Cloud Architect certifications);
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and govern enterprise ‑ level architecture solutions that translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient technical designs across shore ‑ side and shipboard environments.
  • Develop and maintain architecture standards, reference architectures, and design patterns, producing high ‑ level and detailed designs covering network topology, segmentation, cloud workloads, integrations, data flows, and security zones.
  • Provide architectural oversight across the full delivery lifecycle, reviewing solution designs, validating implementations, ensuring alignment with approved standards, and supporting production deployment readiness.
  • Embed cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance requirements into all architecture designs, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, and internal security policies.
  • Conduct security architecture reviews and risk assessments, identifying gaps, evaluating vulnerabilities, supporting remediation planning, and maintaining accountability for secure configurations across applications and infrastructure.
  • Define and govern configuration, resilience, and continuity requirements, ensuring accurate CMDB maintenance, secure configuration management, and robust disaster recovery and business continuity architectures.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to technical and business stakeholders, contributing to technology roadmaps, evaluating emerging technologies, and ensuring that operational, regulatory, and security needs are consistently met.
